Next weekend: In the 14 hole competition on this Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th December there will be prizes for: Best score overall; best score in each catagory 1 (up to 9); category 2 (10 to 18) and category 3 (19+).

Winter League: The Winter League 2021-2020 will commence with the first of the 14 hole qualifiers this weekend Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th December. There are nine teams in the league. Five of the eight players from each team must play in the 14 hole competition with four best scores to count.

Winter Rules: From 1st December we begin 14 holes competitions. You may lift, clean and place in the general area (on the fairway and in the rough).

50/50 Draw Christmas Special: For the next 50/50 Draw to be held on Friday 18th December there will, in addition to the regular first prize, a chance to win three Christmas hampers. So make sure you are in the next draw.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the last draw held on Friday December 3rd Chris Middleton won €120 with the total pot at €240. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Friday December 17. Thanks to everybody who supported this club fundraiser.

New Caterers: Our new caterers, owned and led by Joe Mulqueen of Andy's Bar & Restaurant, Sarsfield St, Nenagh commenced operation. We welcome Joe and his staff. Members' support is vital to ensure that the bar and restaurant will be a successful and viable business. Food will be served from a varied menu, commencing each morning at 10am, Sunday to Friday and at 9am on Saturdays for the winter period, while closing time of the clubhouse will be 6pm each evening with last orders at 5.30pm. Operating times will vary throughout the year with food being available late into the evening as daylight hours extend.

Open Team of 4: The new Open Team of 4 competition will commence in December and will run for the month of December, January, February and March. The sponsor is Eanna Jones (PGA professional). Full playing handicaps apply with two scores to count. Entry fee will be €25 per player for visitors and €5 per play for members with re-enry in same month €15 for visitors. 25% of entry will go to the best visitors team per month and 25% goes to the best member team per month.
