Mogul Cup: The Costello Oil sponsored Mogul Cup will take place on this Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th July. It will be a Golfer of the Year event and entry will be €10.

Vinny's Classic: It is the 30th anniversary of Vinny's Classic in aid of Irish Pilgrimage Trust Golf, which this year will be on this Friday 8th July. The competition will be a four person scramble with a 4.45 pm shotgun start and entry of €100 per team. Three drives per person.

JB Carr Trophy: Our JB Carr team was defeated in dramatic fashion in the second leg of their match against Shannon last week. With Nenagh winning 3-2 at home and Shannon winning 3-2 in Shannon the match was decided in a playoff with the Nenagh pair of Paul Moloney and Gary Howard losing the first extra hole to a birdie. Playing in Shannon were Michael Tierney and Billy Burke; Michael Scroope and Dinny Ryan; Paul Moloney and Gary Howard; Michael Gavin and Jim Gleeson; Pat Hogan and George Hayes. Thanks to the team and manager Hugh Maher for their efforts.

Fred Perry Trophy: The Fred Perry team won their match versus Spanish Point by 4-1 in Nenagh on Sunday evening. The team was Billy Burke and Willie Harty; Sean Minogue and George Hayes; Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson; Paul Moloney and Gary Howard; Billy Morgan and Dinny Ryan. Their next outing will be the Munster West final against the winners of Killarney and Ballybunion in Ballyneety on Saturday 6th August. Selectors are Michael Hegarty and Eamon Callanan.

Pierce Purcell Shield: Our Pierce Purcell team have a Munster West quarter final match against Castletroy in Nenagh on Sunday afternoon. Best of luck to the team and selectors Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson.

Club Singles (O'Keefe Cup): The club singles is down to the last stages. Conor Dore v Ger McKenna; Aidan Ryan beat Jerry Ryan; John Coonan beat Joe Coonan and Tom Coffey beat Hugh O'Brien.

Club Fourball: The draw for the club fourball has been made and his posted in the locker room. The deadline for the first round is 26th June.

Special 50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday June 25th when Cormac Doheny won €140 with the total pot at €280. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Saturday July 9th.
