President's Prize: Club president's (Michael Manning) prize will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10th, 11th and 12th June. The on-line booking system will open for all three days on Friday 3rd June. There will be a 9 hole playoff for the leading qualifiers on Sunday evening June 12th.

Club Fourball: If you wish to enter the club fourball matchplay, please put both names in an envelope with the entry fee and place it in the scorecard box. Closing date for entry is Monday 6th June. Entry fee: €10 per player, €20 per pair.

Pierce Purcell: The Pierce Purcell were successful in their second round match versus Adare in Nenagh on Sunday afternoon. The results was 3.5 matches to 1.5 in Nenagh's favour. The pairings were: David McGrath and David Hickey; Liam Gleeson and Michael Gavin; Paul Comer and Dominick O'Brien; Paul Moloney and Denis Corrigan; John Slattery and Mel Gleeson. Their next match will be against the winners of Rathbane and Charleville. Their management team is Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson.

Fred Perry: Our Fred Perry team received a walk over, in their second round match, following Ballyneety's failure to field a team. Their next match will be away to Ballykisteen.

Moore Cup: The Moore Cup squad got their campaign off to a successful start on Saturday last with a match against Tullamore. They won 4-3. They had three singles matches at home and four away. Playing at home were Willie Harty, Willie Duff and Billy Morgan. Away were Paul Bane, Hugh Maher, Eugene Fitzpatrick and Conor O'Meara. They will play the winners of Birr and Esker Hills in the next round. The selectors are Pat Foley and John Hackett.

Cashman Cup: The Cashman cup team were beaten 3-2 in their first match against Limerick on Saturday afternoon.. The managers are David McGrath and Matthew O'Gara.

Jimmy Bruen: The Jimmy Bruen team was unsuccessful in their first round match versus Castletroy in Castletroy on Sunday afternoon. The pairings were: Brendan O'Donoghue and Noel Gleeson; Padraig Hackett and Denis Corrigan; Hugh O'Brien and Brian Fitzgibbon; Eamon O'Brien and Michael Corrigan; Brian Freeman and Bernard Hackett. Selectors are Ray Hurley and Liam O'Gara.

Club Singles (O'Keefe Cup): The club singles is moving along. The third round matches should all have been played by now. Top player on the draw sheet to arrange match. Play from the blue markers. Full difference in handicaps to apply.

Special 50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday May 28th when Jody Hurley won €145 with the total pot at €285. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop.
