JB Carr: The JB Carr Trophy, a fourball inter-club competition, took place at Nenagh on Thursday evening last against Ballykisteen. Nenagh went down 3-2 with the deciding match going to the 18th. Representing the club were Kevin Walshe and Ivan Austin, Michael Scroope and Eugene Fitzpatrick, Michael McMahon and Tony McCann, Tommy Gaynor and Michael Gavin, David Jones and Paul Dooley with Tom Kennedy and Jim Flynn as reserves. The managers were Seamus Hennessy and Nicky Flannery.
Central Towns: On Saturday the Central Towns team took on Cowran Park in the first round of this singles competition but unfortunately lost 3-2. Turning out for Nenagh were at home Kieran Burke, TJ Burns and Paul Comer while Paul Ferris and Mel Gleeson were in Cowran. Reserves were Niall Murphy, A. Barry and John Slattery. Mel Gleeson was the manager.
Winter League: The much-postponed Winter League final between Denis Corrigan and Michael Hegarty will take place on this Saturday 27th April with three fourball at 9.30am and six singles at 1.15pm.
