Pat Foley win Martin Slattery's Prize: Pat Foley used all his years of experience and patience to post a score of 67 on Sunday to add to his 66 the previous weekend and win the captain's prize carding 133. Frank Flannery Jnr had a great 67 for a total of 138 to secure second place. Joe Ryan was keeping in touch until he had his misfortunes on the 18th to shoot a total 138. David Reddan Jnr, in the form of his life, was one over par to win the gross. Bill Crotty scored 67 on Sunday and won the student's prize with 142. All the 75s from the previous weekend made the cut. At the presentation of prizes Martin Slattery thanked everyone who had helped make the event such a great success. He praised the course staff, the men's committee and helpers for organising the event as well as the catering staff. Winner Pat Foley thanked everybody, on his own behalf and on behalf of all the prizewinners, for the staging of such a wonderful event in the club.
