Pierce Purcell Shield: The Pierce Purcell Shield team saw action in Charleville on Sunday afternoon. They beat the home team 4.5-0.5 and now play the winners of the Castletroy v Limerick match. The team was Paul Comer and Paul Moloney; Michael Gavin and Liam Gleeson; Matthew O'Gara and Dominic O'Brien; Donal Keogh and David Hickey; John Slattery and Mel Gleeson. The selectors are Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson.

Fred Perry Trophy: Our Fred Perry team is still going well in the Munster West section. They had a very good win by 3.5 to 1.5 over Ballykisteen away on Thursday evening last. Two of the matches went to the 18th. Representing the club were Billy Burke and Willie Harty; Sean Minogue and George Hayes; Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson; Paul Moloney and Dinny Ryan; Denis Corrigan and Billy Morgan. This team now awaits Spanish Point in the semi-final in Nenagh. Well done to the team and selectors Michael Hegarty and Eamon Callanan.

Duggan Cup: The Duggan Cup won their match with Esker Hill by 3-2 on Saturday afternoon. Playing in Nenagh were Paul Ferris and Paul Comer; Billy Morgan and Brian Byrne; Jody Hurley and Liam Gleeson. Away pairs were Kieran Burke and Sean Quinn along with Sean McLoughlin and Con O'Meara. They will play Portarlington, away, in the third round. Selectors are Sean McLoughlin and Bernard Delahunty.

Club Singles (O'Keefe Cup): The club singles is down to the last eight players. Conor Dore v Ger McKenna; Jerry Ryan v Aidan Ryan; John Coonan v Joe Coonan and Hugh O'Brien v Tom Coffey.

Club Fourball: The draw for the club fourball has been made and his posted in the locker room. The deadline for the first round is 26th June.

Special 50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday June 11th when Patricia Finn won €145 with the total pot at €290. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Saturday June 25th.

Lions Club: Nenagh Lions Club champagne scramble, sponsored by Mack Engineering, will take place on Saturday and Sunday 2nd and 3rd July. Prize sponsors Jim McLoughney Menswear and Breo Jewellers. Entry fee €80 for team of four (any combination). There will also be an all ladies prize. All proceeds to support Carmha. Timesheet available online.

Vinny's Classic: It is the 30th anniversary of Vinny's Classic in aid of Irish Pilgrimage Trust Golf, which this year will be on Friday 8th July. The competition will be a four person scramble with a 4.45 pm shotgun start and entry of €100 per team.. Three drives per person.
