Winter League: The winter league semi-finals took place on Saturday. Paul Maloney's team beat Michael Corrigan's 2-1 while Mel Gleeson beat Gerry O'Rourke by the same score. The final between Paul Moloney and Mel Gleeson will take place on this Saturday 25th Feb with three fourballs starting at 9.30am and six singles commencing at 1.40pm. Best of luck to both teams.
50/50 Draw: The 50/50 draw was held on Saturday 18th February in which Brian Byrne won €105 from a total pot of €210. The next draw will take place on this Saturday 4th March 2023.
Aussie Poker: Aussie's Poker Classic, in aid of parish funds, will be held at Nenagh Golf Club on Sunday 26th February at 6pm. Entry €20 with light refreshments.
Subscription reminder: A reminder that all golf subscriptions must be paid before March 31st this year and to qualify for green fee vouchers, payment must be received before the end of February. Thanks to all who have paid their subscription so far this year or who have entered into a payment arrangement.
First tee: All golfing personnel including members and visiting players are instructed to play from the frontal area of tee box hole number 1 where the markers are situated for health and safety reasons until further notice. Under no circumstances is any player or players to play from further back on the tee fox from the designated area.
Practice ground: The Board of Management requests all players using the practice ground are instructed to hit golf balls from the designated area only down the field in line with the newly erected signs on the course. Where a player mishits a ball from the designated area which travels a short or long distance, they are strictly forbidden from re-hitting that ball from where it now lies due to the possibility of golf balls entering neighbouring lands. Players are not permitted to hit golf balls either back or across the practice ground for health and safety reasons. We are requesting that all players comply fully with the above regulations.
