Lady Captain's Prize: The men's club hopes that Lady Captain Marese Dolan Hutchinson has a lovely day on this Saturday July 24. Consequently there will be no men's competition on that date.

Lions Club: The Lions Club will hold a Champagne Scramble on Sunday July 25. Entry will be €50 per team of four. Proceeds of the fundraiser will go to Carmha. The prizes for the event will be sponsored by Jim McLoughney Menswear and Breo Jewellers.

Pierce Purcell: The Pierce Purcell Shield team won their second round match against Rathbane on Wednesday evening July 14. The margin of victory was 4-1. Playing in Nenagh were Padraig Hackett and David McGrath, Paul Moloney and David Hickey, Brendan O'Donoghue and Matthew O'Gara. They away pairings were Bernard Hackett and PJ Hogan and Mike Ryan and Pat Ryan. They will play Ballykisteen in the third round. Their selectors are PJ Shanahan and Bernard Delahunty.

Duggan Cup: Nenagh's Duggan Cup lost their second round match, by 3 matches to 2, away to Rathdowney on Wednesday afternoon July 14. Playing away were Paul Comer and Paul Ferris, Roger Coffey and Niall Murphy and Andrew Warren and Phil Reddan. Playing in Nenagh were Jim Flynn and Billy Morgan along with Sean Quinn and Michael Gavin. Thanks to the team for their efforts on behalf of the club. The selectors were Michael Hegarty and Eamon Callanan.

Senior Cup: The Senior Cup team lost to Castletroy 4-1 on Friday evening. Playing in Nenagh were Scott O'Brien and Paul Carey. In action in Castletroy were Rob Ward, Ronan Maher and Tony Scroope. Their manager was Collwyn Martin.

Junior Cup: Our Junior Cup squad had a brilliant victory of Castletroy in their first round match on Saturday afternoon by 3.5 to 1.5. Representing the club in Castletroy were Jake Adler, David Jones and Michael Corrigan. Playing in Nenagh were Brian Freeman and Cian Heffernan. Their manager is Hugh Maher with selector Cronan Casey They will play Ballyneety in the next round.

Cashman Cup: The Cashman Cup squad suffered defeat in their match against Ballykisteen on Saturday evening. Playing in Nenagh were Billy Morgan and Garry Howard; Toddy Hogan and David McGrath; Willie Duff and Liam O'Gara. In Ballykisteen were Michael Gavin and Kevin Stritch; Denis Corrigan and Willie Harty. The selectors were Tony McCann and Michael Fitzgibbon.

Barton Shield: The Barton Shield team were defeated by Castletroy in their match on Sunday afternoon. Representing Nenagh in two foursomes matches were Scott O'Brien and Jake Adler in Nenagh while Paul Carey and Rob Ward were away. Their manager was Collwyn Martin.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the last draw held on Friday July 16 Brian Maloney won €160 with the total pot at €320.To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Friday July 30.

The draw is in operation for a year this week. Thanks to everybody who supported this club fundraiser.
