Julie Barkman's Woman's Captain's Prize: The Women's Captain's prize will take place on Sunday 24th July. Consequently there will be no men's competition on that date. The men's club hope our lady captain Julie has a lovely day for herself and her family and that she will have fine weather and great golf for her special day.

Duggan Cup: The Duggan Cup team suffered disappointment on Saturday last when they went down to Portarlington by 3 match to 2. Playing at home were Billy Morgan and TJ Burns; Michael Gavin and Jody Hurley while the away pairing were Sean Quinn and Michael Hegarty; Paul Comer and Paul Ferris; Sean McLoughlin and Con O'Meara. Thanks to the team and their selectors Sean McLoughlin and Bernard Delahunty. Special mention to Michael Gavin who was drafted in at the last moment.

North Tipp Hospice Classic: The North Tipperary Hospice in Home Care Movement Classic will take place on Saturday and Sunday July 30th and 31st. The format will be open champagne scramble team of four (ladies, gents or mixed) with two scores to count on each hole. Entry will be €80 per team. Special prizes for best all ladies and visitors team not featuring in main prizes. Separate raffle on the day for valuable prizes. Goody bags for all. There will be over €2000 in prizes. 1st prize: 4 golf bags; 2nd prize: 4 wedges; 3rd prize: golf shoes; 4th prize: Titleist golf balls and numerous spot prizes

Club Fourball: The draw for the club fourball has been made and his posted in the locker room. The deadline for the second round is 13th July.

Special 50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday July 9th Maureen Hogan won €135 with the total pot at €270. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. Please support.
