Mens' AGM: The annual general meeting of the men's club took place on Friday night last. The accounts showed a surplus of €26,278. The following officers were elected: President, Michael Manning; captain, Liam Hogan; vice-captain, Martin Slattery; hon secretary, Tony Scroope; hon treasurer, Niall Murphy; hon handicap secretary, Paul Comer; ex-officio, Sean McLoughlin. Committee: Brian Byrne, Tom O'Connor, Hugh Maher, Tony McCann, Billy Morgan, Tony Slattery, Paul Dooley and Jim Flynn. There were no motions.

Hole-in-one: Well done to Brian Nolan who had a hole-in-one at the 8th hole playing in the singles competition at the weekend.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the last draw held on Friday November 5 Liam Heffernan won €125 with the total pot at €250. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Friday November 19. Thanks to everybody who supported this club fundraiser.

BRS Booking: From November 1st advance booking on the BRS Booking system goes to five days. Booking time will start from 9pm.

Winter League: The Winter League 2021-2020 will be run on a league basis for the first five rounds of 14 hole singles. Qualifying will take place from Saturday and Sunday 14 hole competitions. Top four teams to qualify for semi-finals, three pairs playing 18 holes. The final will be three pairs over 14 holes and six singles over 14 holes. In qualifying rounds five players must play either on Saturdays or Sundays in 14 hole competitions, scores of 4 of the 5 to count, over 5 qualifying weekend competitions. If either Saturday or Sundays are unplayable the whole weekend will be deemed as unplayable (for winter league purposes only). If this happens another weekend will be added. Teams will be notified before start of the league of which weekends will be used to qualify. Closing date for entry will be November 15th.

AGM: The annual general meeting of the parent club of Nenagh Golf Club will take place on Monday December 6 virtually via Zoom. In order to attend the meeting you will have to pre-register using the link that will be sent to you. Once registered you will receive the details of the Zoom meeting. If you fail to pre-register you will not be eligible to vote at the meeting. You will receive the link to pre-register by email so consequently it is important that the club has your correct email address. If the club does not have an email address for you or an incorrect one please contact the club to make sure you are on the email list.
