Pierce Purcell Shield: Our Pierce Purcell team defeated Castletroy by 4-1 in their Munster West quarter final match in Nenagh on Sunday evening. The Nenagh team was David Hickey and Donal Keogh; Matt O'Gara and Dom O'Brien; David McGrath and Liam Gleeson; Paul Moloney and Paul Comer; Mel Gleeson and Johnny Slattery. The selectors are Pat Hogan and Jim Gleeson.

Central Towns: The Central Towns squad had a good win over Edenderry on Saturday last. Playing in Edenderry were Mel Gleeson and TJ Burns while Martin Reddan, Liam Gleeson and Jody Hurley played in Nenagh. Their next match will be against Longford. The selectors are Billy Morgan and Mel Gleeson.

Club Singles (O'Keefe Cup): The club singles is down to the last stages. Conor Dore v Ger McKenna; Aidan Ryan beat Jerry Ryan; John Coonan beat Joe Coonan and Tom Coffey beat Hugh O'Brien.

Club Fourball: The draw for the club fourball has been made and his posted in the locker room. The deadline for the second round is 13th July.

Special 50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday July 9th Maureen Hogan won €135 with the total pot at €270. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. Please support.
