Scratch Cups: This Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th May we will have the Junior and Intermediate Scratch Cups. The handicap index for the Junior Scratch Cup will between 2.5 and 8.5 and the handicap index for the Intermediate Scratch Cup will be 8.6 plus.

JB Carr: Our JB Carr team had a 4-1 victory in their second round match at Nenagh Golf Club on Sunday evening. Representing the club were: Paul Moloney and Gary Howard; Jim Flynn and Dinny Ryan; Michael Tierney and Billy Burke; Michael Gavin and Jim Gleeson; Pat Hogan and George Hayes. Well done to the team and their manager Hugh Maher.

Sympathy: The sympathy of the club is extended to the family of the late Willie Reddy who died recently. Willie was a very popular member of the club for twelve years. He was a member of the All-Ireland winning Pierce Purcell Shield team that won the title in 2018.

Fred Perry Trophy. Our Fred Perry Trophy team start the defence of their All-Ireland title when they travel to Castletroy on Thursday afternoon. They will play five fourball betterball matches. Best of luck to the team and selectors Michael Hegarty and Eamon Callanan.

Moore Cup: If you are interested in representing the club in the Moore Cup competition please put your name on the sheet in the men's locker room. You must be 17 or higher handicap. Pat Foley and John Hackett are the selectors.

Club Singles (O'Keefe Cup): The club singles draw took place recently and is posted in the locker room. The second round to be played by 6th May. Top player on the draw sheet to arrange match. Play from the blue markers. Full difference in handicaps to apply.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the draw held on Saturday April 29th when Maeve DeLoughry won €105with the total pot at €210. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Saturday May 14th.
