Summer Mixed 2015: A reminder to ALL members that the Summer Mixed sponsored by Breo Jewellers has commenced for 2015 and will take place everyTuesdayevening till the end of August. All are welcome to sign up on the sheet located in the bar. Tee times operate from around5pm to 6.30pm. It is a great occasion to mix with different golfers and a lot of fun and laughter occurs on these evenings, so make a date in your diary. If you do not have a playing partner, just sign your name on the sheet Jimmy Bruen: The Jimmy Bruen team was successful in qualifying out of the North Munster zone in Roscreaon Saturdayand Sunday.On Saturdaythey beat Castletroy 4-1. On Sunday morning they had a 3-2 victory over Limerick while on Sunday afternoon they were winners over Charleville by 4-1 Central Towns: The Central Towns team enjoyed a victory over Templemoreon Wednesdayafternoon last. Playing in Nenagh were Mel Gleeson, Cronan Casey and John Hogan while David Lewis and Ger Heffernan represented the club in Templemore. Open Team of Three: Our Open Team of Three competition playoff is on thisSaturday 16th Maywith the first tee time at 10amrunning until1pm; Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th MayCostello Oil sponsored Mogul Cup GOY; Club Singles: All the first round matches of the Club Singles have been completed. Duggan Cup: Our Duggan Cup team have a fixture against Mountrathon Friday. Pierce Purcell Shield: The selectors of the Pierce Purcell team are holding trials at the moment. The first round of this competition takes place in Ballyneety Golf Club on the weekend of 23rd/24th May.
