Captains' and Presidents' Drive-in. The much delayed Captains' and Presidents' Drive-in is scheduled for this Friday June 18 at 5.00pm followed by a mixed 12 hole scotch foursomes commencing with a shot gun start at 5.30pm. Food will be served afterwards. We wish captains Sean McLoughlin and Marese Dolan Hutchinson and presidents Sean Minogue and Breda Fitzgibbon every good wish for an enjoyable evening and success for the remainder of their year in office.

Outdoor Dining commenced at the club on Saturday 12th on the new decking area at the front of the club. Come out and enjoy good food and perhaps a drink on this excellent new facility

Club Singles: The draw has been made for the Club Singles following qualifing. The first round should have been completed by June 13. Some first round matches are still outstanding. Get your match played. The top name player to arrange match. Hugh Maher is the co-ordinator of the competition.

Club Fourball: If you want to play in the club fourball put your names and competition fee of €20 per pair in the competition box. The draw for this competition will take place at the weekend. The club fourball organiser is Niall Murphy.

Moore Cup: Our Moore Cup team have a match against Esker Hills on this Saturday. The best of luck to the team and management team of Matt Hanly and John Hackett. They have four matches away and three at home.

Fred Perry Cup: The Fred Perry Cup squad had a practice at Rathbane on Tuesday evening ahead of their match against Rathbane on Friday June 25 at 4.30 pm. The management team is Billy Morgan and Bernard Delahunty.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund is ongoing. In the last draw held on Friday June 4 Jerimiah O'Dwyer won €200 with the total pot at €400.To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box outside the pro shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support. The next draw will take place on this Friday June 18.

Pierce Purcell Shield: Bernard Delahunty is the manager and PJ Shanahan is a selector of the Pierce Purcell team for 2021 and they are interested to hear from anybody that is willing to have their name on a panel for trials and team selection. You must be 18 and over and your handicap index of no less than 10.5 and no higher than 16.4 on 1st January 2021. The format is foursomes match play. Nenagh have a bye in the first round and their first match will be away to Rathbane in early July.

Duggan Cup: The Duggan Cup is a team competition confined to golfers over the age of 50 years on 1st January 2021. The maximum handicap is 17.5. The matches are played in foursomes and will consist of five pairs. If you are interested please put your name on the sheet in the men's locker room. The first match was scheduled to be played in early June away to Rathdowney but this has now been deferred to mid July. The selectors are Michael Hegarty and Eamon Callanan.
