Open Team Of Three

Team of Three 2019-20: The Team of Three competition for 2019-2020 will commence in October. Members can play Monday to Saturday, visitors can play any day excluding open days. Two teams qualify each month. If visiting team not in first two, best visiting team to qualify each month with a grand final in May 2019. Prizes: 1st - 3x €300 Vouchers; 2nd - 3x €200 Vouchers; 3rd - 3x €100 Vouchers; 4th - 3x €75; 5th - 3x €50 Vouchers. Competition fee will be €10 each for members and €20 each for visitors with re-entry in the same month €5 for members and €10 for visitors. Play off 9/10th of your handicap. Each player who enters will be included in a draw for prizes of €150, €100 and €50 at the end of the competition. You may book on-line or contact the Pro Shop 067 31476 Ext 2 or 087 2132241.

Team of 2 for this weekend: The competition for this weekend will be a Team of 2 over 16 holes. Holes 13 and 14 are not be played.

Parent Club AGM: The annual general meeting the Parent Club of Nenagh Golf Club took place on Monday in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh. Officers for 2020 are: President Eamon Callanan; lady president, Mary R. Ryan; captain, Jim Flynn; lady captain, Lucy Saunders; vice-captain, Sean McLoughlin; lady vice-captain, Marese Dolan Hutchinson; ex officio, Hugh Maher and Mary O'Shea; hon secretary, Paul Ferris; hon treasurer, John Sheridan; auditors, Gleeson and Co.; committee : Mary Meany, Mary O'Sullivan, Michael Fahey, Pat Grace, Des O'Carroll. There were no motions.

Course care: Please repair your pitch marks on the greens to ensure that the course is maintained throughout the winter months.
Winter League: The draw has been made for the 2019/2020 Winter League. In Group 1 are Jodie Hurley, Christy Hartigan, Denis Corrigan, Brian Freeman. In Group 2 are George Hayes, Michael Hegarty, Cronan Casey, Robbie Foley. After the teams in each group play each other the top team in Group 1 will play the fourth team in Group 2; the second team in Group 1 will play the third team in Group 2; third team in Group 1 will play 2nd team in Group 2; fourth team in Group 1 will play 1st team in Group 2. After the group stages all matches will be knockout.
