Open Team Of Three

Team of Three 2019-20: The Team of Three competition for 2019-2020 will commence in October. Members can play Monday to Saturday, visitors can play any day excluding open days. Two teams qualify each month. If visiting team not in first two, best visiting team to qualify each month with a grand final in May 2019. Prizes: 1st - 3x €300 Vouchers; 2nd - 3x €200 Vouchers; 3rd - 3x €100 Vouchers; 4th - 3x €75; 5th - 3x €50 Vouchers. Competition fee will be €10 each for members and €20 each for visitors with re-entry in the same month €5 for members and €10 for visitors. Play off 9/10th of your handicap. Each player who enters will be included in a draw for prizes of €150, €100 and €50 at the end of the competition. You may book on-line or contact the Pro Shop 067 31476 Ext 2 or 087 2132241.

Fixtures: Wednesday October 30: Open Singles
Friday November 1: Open Seniors
Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3: Open Singles.
Senior Open: The Friday Seniors Open began on Friday October 4. The tee will be booked from 10am to 12 noon. Play from the green markers. Members €5 and visitors €10.
Singles Matchplay: In the singles matchplay Brian Freeman beat Michael Fahey to reach the final. Alex Jones beat Tom Clarke in the other semi-final.
Club Fourball: The Club Fourball is down to the last couple matches. Eamon Callanan and Mike Ryan are in the final. Bernard Delahunty and Matt Hanly are through to the semi-final to meet Ger Clifford and Ger Ryan.
Beechwood Cup: The draw for the Beechwood Cup is: Brian Maxwell v Kevin Folen and Martin Horrigan v Mark Ryan.
Seniors Matchplay: In the Seniors Matchplay Ger Ryan beat Charlie Cavanagh to reach the final while Aussie Dennison and Tom O'Donnell are in the other semi-final..

Men's AGM 2019: The annual general meeting of the men's club will take place on Friday November 8 at 8.00pm in the clubhouse.
Winter League: The Winter League for 2019-2020 will commence soon. Select your team of 10 and have your entry in before Monday October 28. Team of 10 is €60. Draw will be made on Wednesday October 30. Winners of the 2018-19 competition must drop four players from their final panel (excluded players to be named before first match is played). Runners up for 2018-19 must drop three players from their final panel (excluded players must to named before first match is played).

LADIES GOLF NOTES 27/10/19

Dates for the diary. November 12h weekly Turkey competition begins. Week 1 1st-7th November. 1st and 2nd Prize in each category.

The ladies annual AGM will be held on Monday 4th November @8pm in the clubhouse, we encourage all members to attend.
