Get well wishes: Everyone at the club is delighted to hear that our captain Hugh Maher is recovering well following recent surgery. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him very soon. He is sorely missed around the club.

Civic reception for Purcell squad: At a civic reception given by Tipperary County Council (Nenagh Municipal District) held at the civic offices in Nenagh on Wednesday night last our Pierce Purcell Shield winning team was honoured. Team manager Paddy Peters accepted a scroll from Cllr. Mattie Ryan, chairman of the council, on behalf of the team. Along with Purcell squad members, those in attendance were vice captain Jim Flynn; president Des O'Carroll; lady captain Mary O'Shea; lady president Toni Brophy and other club officers. The council had selected the Pierce Purcell team from the three national titles won by the club last year as just one squad from each club could be honoured.

Care of the course: With the recent fine weather there is plenty of play of the course. Please ensure you repair pitch marks on the greens and replace your divots on the fairway. The number of pitch marks that were not repaired last weekend was very noticeable and not acceptable.

Membership Year 2019: The renewals of your membership have been issued recently. Please note that Subscriptions for Year 2019 are now due and members are requested to submit payment as soon as possible. Prompt payment will ensure that necessary work required to keep the course in top condition can continue for all our enjoyment. We wish all our members many hours of enjoyment on the course for the coming year. In order to qualify for Green Fee Vouchers payment must be made in full by 16/2/2019.
