ILGU Matchplay: On Sunday June 23 the ILGU Matchplay take place on the course and consequently there will not be a men's competition on that date.
Tuesday Mixed: The Tuesday Mixed of 2019 commenced on May 7th and will continue every Tuesday until September. All are welcome to come along and participate in a fun evening of golf. It's a fun format and great opportunity to interact with other members. Get your names on the timesheet available in the clubhouse. Come and show your support for your vice-captains Jim Flynn and Lucy Sanders.
Singles Matchplay: There are still five second round matches to be played. First named player to arrange match. Get your match played as soon as you can to ensure the smooth running of this competition.
Club Fourball: The Club Fourball draw was made recently. The pairings and rules are posted on the noticeboard in the men's locker room.
Irish Mixed Foursomes Challenge 2019: Our mixed team travelled to Ballyneety for 8.30am start on Saturday to compete in the Irish Mixed Foursomes. Our first match was against Rathbane G.C with Nenagh winning 5-0. Our next match was against a very strong Limerick G.C. side in the afternoon this resulted in a 3-2 win for Nenagh. On Sunday morning our opponents were Adare Manor in the North Munster quarter-final. This was a very tightly contest resulting in a 3½ to 1½ win for Adare Manor. Nenagh teams for both days were selected from the following panel members: David Reddan, Breda Fitzgibbon, Pat Ryan, Vanessa Austin, Brendan Kennedy, Karen Whelan, James Reddan, Mary Ryan, Michael Tierney, Toni Brophy, Marie Franks, Michael Fahey, Michael McMahon, Tony Scroope, Julie Barkman, Maureen Hogan, Noreen O’Meara, Billy Burke, Barbara O’Neill. Managers: Des O’Carroll and Toni Brophy.
Diary change: There had been a change made to the diary in August regarding the Captain's (Hugh Maher) Prize. The Captain's Prize Qualifier will now be held on Saturday August 10, Sunday August 11 and Monday August 12. The Captain's Prize playoff will take place on Saturday August 17. Societies already booked in will have to be catered for. There will now be an open singles on Sunday August 18. A scramble will take place on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25.
