Golf club closed: Nenagh Golf Club along with all golf clubs in the Republic of Ireland were notified on Wednesday evening last that golf clubs must close as of October 21, under the new Level 5 restrictions. Only essential course maintenance is permitted at this time. The Management Committee of the club hope that everyone stays safe at this time. Should a member care to call any member of the respective committees of the club at any time, please feel free to do so. We are here to help and happy to have a chat.

The Men’s Club AGM is taking place on Friday 13th of November next as per the notice posted on the board in the clubhouse and attached above. Due to further restrictions in these unprecedented times, this year's AGM will be taking place via Zoom. However preregistration is required and the meeting will be unable to go ahead unless a quorum is met with a sufficient number of pre-registered members. 50/50 Members' Draw: The eighth fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund took place on Friday October 23 with Joe Hogan winning €215. Owing to restrictions place on the club by Level 5 the draw has now been suspended until further notice .

New Handicap System: A new World Handicap System (WHS) had been devised and will come into force on November 2. Everything members need to know about WHS is available at www.golfnet.ie/whs and we encourage you to access this resource. It has a Frequently Asked Questions document, presentations and the Rules of Handicapping book available for download.
