Golfer of the Year: The De Loughry Trophy was the last of the Golfer of the Year competition for 2020 and the Golfer of the Year is Henry Sheehan.

Lions Club Fundraiser: The Lions Club Charity golf competition is taking place on this Saturday and Sunday September 26 and 27. The format will be a champagne scramble for a team of four players. Prizes have been kindly donated by Breo Jewellers and Jim McLoughney's menswear. Entry is €60 per team. To enter ring the club at 067-31476 (ext. 2) or through the club's website at www.nenaghgolfclub.com. Money raised from this event will be allocated to deserving causes at local level including Riding for the Disabled and CARMHA (Connection and Recovery in Mental Health and Addiction).

All Ireland Mid Amateur: The All Ireland Mid Amateur originally fixed for Nenagh Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday September 26 and 27 has now being switched to Saturday and Sunday October 3 and 4.

50/50 Members' Draw: The fifth fortnightly 50/50 Members' Draw in aid of the club development fund took place on Friday September 11 with Pat Foley winning €325. The sixth draw will take place on this Friday September 25. To enter simply put €5 in the envelope supplied and place it in draw box in the Pro Shop. The winner will receive 50% of the pot. The draw will take place every second Friday. The prize grows with every ticket sold. Please support.

Club singles: The club singles matchplay competition (O'Keeffe Cup) is down to the semi-finals. Henry Sheehan will play Gerard Ryan while Frank Flannery takes on Oisin Butler. The semi-finals must be played before Monday September 28 with the deadline for the final October 10.
